Cultural Infusion achieves ISO 27001 certification

Cultural Infusion, provider of intercultural education programs, events and platforms, has achieved ISO 27001 certification.

The world’s leading standard for information security management systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 considers how we assess our risks and how much risk we can accept, and how any risk can be mitigated or controlled.

Spearheaded by our Chief Technology Officer and Digital Projects Director Rezza Moieni, the certification process was he result of an enormous effort from the entire team.

“It is not a recommendation of using a specific firewall, router or IDS system but it is a higher-level set of procedures that outlines how we are going to address Information security as a whole,” explained Rezza.

“We at Cultural Infusion are one of the innovators in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and among the first, if not the first , to use a data-driven approach to understanding diversity.”

Our Cultural Diversity Index, was the world’s first of its kind and now hundreds of thousands of people have used Diversity Atlas and we have mapped and analysed diversity of hundreds of teams in the last year and half. Data in our approach is the biggest asset and protecting that is our highest priority

“Every person of our whole team came together to get this done, including development team, operation teams, administrative team and executives.”

Cultural Infusion has established Information Security Management System across the whole organisation from development and operation to support and distribution of all our products

“To achieve this Iso certificate, we went through an internal audit by an independent audit team and then went through a vigorous process of demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting company and customer data,” he concludes. “To me, this is just a beginning, and we are committed to improve every day.”
