The Magic of Mungo (Digital curriculum for history: Year 4 and 7)

Primary and Secondary Teachers

Mungo Explorer

Scientific and historical knowledge and Aboriginal perspectives come together in a dynamic and deep learning journey with the Mungo Explorer resource. It is anticipated that students and teachers will have a transformative experience with this inquiry-based curriculum. The resources include lesson plans, teacher references, student activities, archival photos, graphs/maps, videos of elders. Professor Jim Bowler’s history changing significant discoveries, of the oldest human remains in Australia at Lake Mungo, form the foundation of this work. Teachers and students are informed about Ancient Australia and the Aboriginal people who lived through the Ice Age and the oldest living cultures on earth at the forefront of human evolution.

This package includes lessons plans, images and interactive student study sheets.
