Chinese Kite Making

Did you know that kites were invented in China? In this hands-on program, students will learn about the cultural significance of the traditional art of Chinese Kite Making. They will then have the opportunity to make their own colourful paper kite. Chinese Kite Making allows students to learn about the symbolism of different shapes and animals used in this ancient craft as well as practice Chinese calligraphy to decorate their kites.
