Refund Policy

Under certain circumstances as outlined below in section 1, if a participant chooses to withdraw from the course prior to commencement, a refund of the course fee may be issued minus the following:

  • A surcharge amount of 10% of the total course fee to cover processing fees incurred.

Participants wishing to pursue a monetary refund must apply within 5 business days of the course’s start date. After this date, compensation may only be issued in the form of credit towards future courses.

Please note that if you are granted a visa to enter Australia under the explicit provison that you attend the program, Cultural Infusion has a legal duty to contact relevant authorities to notify them of any such changes in your enrolment.

1. Circumstances under which a refund may be granted:

Please note that documentary evidence must be provided in support of an application for a refund under any of the below provisions.

1.1. Rejection of visa application

  • If your visa is denied for any reason and you are unable to enter Australia, you must provide proof in the form of correspondence from the relevant authorities.

1.2. Medical reasons

  • Medical issues in which the applicant’s condition has changed to such an extent that they are unable to commence their studies.
  • Valid evidence from a certified health professional in support of these circumstances must be provided.

1.3. Special circumstances

Some extenuating circumstances may be accepted as grounds for a refund at the discretion of Cultural Infusion, such as:

  • Personal difficulties such as death or severe medical problems within a family to such an extent that it is unreasonable for an applicant to commence their studies..

In any such circumstances, it is recommended that you provide any available supporting documentation to assist in the decision process.

2. Issuance of refund:

2.1 Approval of refund

In the event that your application for a refund is successful, a refund will be issued under the following conditions:

  • All refunds will be made in US dollars.
  • The refunded amount will be issued as per the initial form of payment (e.g. if by credit card, a refund will be issued to the same account used for the original transaction).
  • Cultural Infusion will endeavour to issue all eligible refunds within 6 weeks of the refund application being submitted.

2.1.2 Non-refundable fees

Please note that the following fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the amount refunded:

  • A surcharge amount of 10% of the total course fee to cover processing fees incurred.

2.2 Refusal of refund

In the event that your application for a refund is not approved, you will be notified as soon as possible. 

In some cases, the refund amount (as calculated in accordance with section 2.1.2 above) may instead be credited towards any future courses or programs undertaken through Cultural Infusion, at the discretion of the organisation.
