Aboriginal Art for A Day

 

Introduce students to the intricate design work of one of the world’s oldest art forms.

Leonie Harris will teach students how to express themselves through the ancient traditions of Indigenous art via individual class work or by painting a mural with students. Projects can be tailored to curriculum directions and specific areas of study and can enhance learning outcomes such as team building, Aboriginal History, and Cross Cultural Appreciation studies

A Member of the Noongar tribe and the Bibbulmann clan, Leonie is an experienced cultural presenter, having been a member of our Western Creation Aboriginal for a Day program for 5 years. Her workshops are entertaining and informative, and her art inspiring.

Available as an All-Day Program or individual incursion.
