Warramar Man (Prep – Year 12)

Join Cultural Infusion’s Indigenous Officer, Djarrin Blow on a journey back to the
Dreamtime. A member of the Barkindji tribe, Djarrin’s name means ‘fearless warrior’. In this
presentation, Djarrin will take your students back to the time of the warrior, showing the weapons and artefacts he would have used in daily life on the land. Djarrin will share ancient stories passed down from his father, mother and uncles, to give students an insight into the one of the oldest living cultures in the world. By teaching the next generation, Djarrin hopes to preserve his people’s rich and ancient traditions, as well as promote

“Just wanted to provide you with some feedback about the Warramar Man. He was FANTASTIC!!!!
He was very passionate about his culture and the kids were engaged the entire time. The kids came
out of it excited about what they had learnt and wanting to share it with their families tonight. I would
definitely recommend the incursion to anyone. Djarrin was excellent with the kids and shared his
knowledge passionately. A fantastic incursion. Thank you so much!!” – Berwick Fields Primary School
