June 2012: Cyber Wonder World and Cyber Sense

Programs to educate children on ettiquette and safety on the internet

Cyber Wonder World (Primary)

Primary students can be extremely tech savvy, but not always aware of the risks the Internet can pose. This fun play introduces primary students to the concept of cyber awareness, teaching them how to protect their computer and, most importantly, their privacy!

Cyber Sense (Secondary)

Older students may have learnt about cyber safety, but don’t necessarily heed the advice! This play examines the way students can use mobile phones, the Internet and social networking sites, and the impact their decisions and behavior can have on their own lives, and others.

Through our series of Wellbeing performances, Cultural Infusion aims to engage students in a dialogue about some of the challenges they might face at home and at school. The lively in-school performances engage and entertain students, whilst teaching them how to make better choices and developing their condence and coping skills. The presenters lead a short follow-up discussion and teachers are provided with activities to complete in-class.
