Victorian B-boy Championships

Cultural Infusion Ltd and FReeZA proudly presented the VICTORIAN B-Boy CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008, which was held at ‘The Crom’ (138 Cromwell St) in Collingwood on Saturday 22 March 2008 from 12 midday to 4 pm.

This event have attracted around 250 people to assist at the 5 on 5 & 1 on 1 battles. There was 40 B-boys and girls divided into 8 crews in total that entered the 5 on 5 divisions. In addition there were 16 individual B-boys who entered the 1 on 1 division. In total there was 56 B-boys/girls who entered the competition. After a long and hard battle the performers have to surpassed them to win the breakdance championships. Congrats to Falcon for taking out the solos against Nemo in the finals. Delinkwentz won the crew battle versus Fresh Sox.

The Judge’s who were the First Generation B-boys (from 1983-1987) with Johnny Duel (Ghetto Rock), A-1 and Jay Ray (Wicked Force) have congratulate all B-Boys/Girls and they said: “ Copy the other isn’t the best solution to win, you must have creative mind , indeed the different culture are welcome in breakdance movement “
